Guest Ratings & Reviews
I found the hotel to be situated in a perfect spot near the bustling Union Square, making it convenient for exploring the city. While the rooms were on the smaller side, it's pretty standard for a downtown location. The service was accommodating, although the noise from neighboring areas was a bit disruptive at times.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were perfect, but unfortunately, mine was awful, despite paying extra, as it was directly below the gym. On a positive note, the room did have fancy soap and hair shampoo, and was equipped with everything we needed, even though it felt a bit small.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of unique design and inconvenience. The rooms were spacious and clean, featuring fun and funky designs different from the usual. Unfortunately, my room was right under the fitness center, making it noisy and shaky when people were working out. However, the hotel refunded us for this unpleasant experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were only fair, about the size of an average bathroom, and gave off an impersonal and cheap impression. However, the room had everything we needed, though better lighting near the bar/dressing area would have been nice. On the bright side, the service was very helpful and friendly, particularly the concierge who assisted us with restaurant recommendations and securing last-minute Alcatraz tickets. Still, I was taken aback when one staff member implied that we 'got what we paid for. ' The location was pretty good, close to Union Square shops and within walking distance of the Powell Bart station. The building itself must have been very cool in its day. While the dining experience could have been better, as we were unable to visit the breakfast place on the corner, the restaurant attached to the hotel was convenient and enjoyable. Overall, the hotel provided a somewhat average experience.
